The second tour included performances at the OzManouche Festival in Brisbane, QLD, the Bison Bar -Nambour, the Dorrigo Rainforest Centre, Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort, and Panthers Port Macquarie.
Never content to rest on their laurels, they have been back in the recording studio in 2018, putting the finishing touches on their second album which will this time feature original songs. This album is due for release in early 2019.
It's clear that what sets the "Gypsies" apart from other musical acts is their undeniable musicianship, their masterful arrangements of classic songs, their hilarious spontaneous banter and authenticity. They are superbly suited to house concerts because of their ability to engage with the audience and acoustic nature of their instruments.
The remainder of 2018 included shows in Sydney, Newcastle, Port Macquarie and the Blue Mountains. They were also one of the headline acts at the Gulgong Folk Festival.
"Sancha and the Blue Gypsies bring the best of the gypsy music world, unforgettable toe-tapping tunes, with the best of the folk world, sing-a-long, heart-felt classics, together in one incredible show. The quality of their musician-ship and their intimate relationship with the audience makes this show something you won't forget. I will be booking this act again!!!"Chris Cannell, MusicintheMountains.com.au
